What was VOCA-UK?

A not-for-profit, unofficial 3D CGI concert project featuring virtual singers from Japan. The name combined "VOCALOID" and "UK", and our logo recoloured the Union Jack with the Kagamine, Miku and MEIKO colours.

In-person concerts

One of the first vocalsynth projection-based systems in the UK, we brought the virtual singers to life on stages across the country.

Every concert had its own set list. We also had smaller live events called "MINI".

Online concerts

YouTube-based experiences with music videos, stories and unique elements. A mixture of different formats and styles.

We used these to experiment with new ideas, and to reach audiences who couldn't attend in person.
