Post-disbandment projects

Projects that came out after we disbanded.

  • Megpoid GUMI live at the FAB Award Ceremony

    Festival of Animation Berlin

We provided the renders for the show which was presented by VOCABERLIN. This show was in production prior to our disbandment.

    Set list (2 songs)

    2. Tokio Funka
  • Midwest Mirai

    Anime Nebraskon

Upon request, we provided the renders for Envy Baby and Shadow Shadow, and contributed to SHANTI with our lyric video render.

What we did

We were a non-profit association set up to grow knowledge and appreciation of Japanese vocalsynth culture outside Japan. Here is how we contributed.

Fan concerts

We operated the entire setup, from screens to projection equipment. Every set list was built for its event with fully bespoke renders, so no two shows were the same.

After each event, the audience could take a picture with their favourite character on stage.

Live sound and video

We provided A/V support for RakuCon 2024 in Manchester, maintaining equipment, running sound and video, and managing the stages. In earlier years we also gave concerts there as VOCA-UK.

Software and tools

We built our own tools for our shows and for the events we worked with. Most of it is open source and available on GitHub.

Characters and content

Koemoto Jenna (声元ジェンナ) was our official mascot, created to visualise our mission of promoting vocalsynth culture.

We also created a range of stickers and other merchandise which were distributed for free at events.
